“It is far more important to know what person the disease has than what disease the person has.” - Hippocrates
Nidhi Sharma, PT, DPT, OCS, WCS
My name is Nidhi and I am a pelvic health physical therapist. I am double board certified in orthopedics and pelvic health through American Association of Physical Therapy (www.apta.org) and have been practicing as a physical therapist since 2009. I completed my BS in Physical Therapy from IP University in Delhi (India), Masters of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Woman’s University and Doctorate in Physical Therapy from EIM Institute of Health Professions. My practice is focused on helping women navigate pregnancy and postpartum with ease as well as providing holistic solutions for complex pelvic health conditions in both women and men across the lifespan. I am actively involved in educating new clinicians and mentoring them in pelvic health specialty. I speak at local support groups, childbirth education classes, local libraries, and community events to raise awareness about pelvic health. I also write for Westchester County Moms collective website about my journey into motherhood and pelvic health after postpartum.
